Annual Certifications Reinstated Beginning With October 1, 2022 Anniversary Dates

With the end of New Jersey’s COVID-19 Public Health Emergency declaration,

Horizon will reinstate the New Jersey Small Employer Health (NJSEH) and Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) certification requirements for groups renewing on October 1, 2022 and later.

As a reminder, NJSEH and SHOP certifications are required for all business applications, as per current underwriting requirements.

In June, we will mail a letter to our Small Employer groups about the reinstatement of the certification process.
