2026 Minimum Deductible and Maximum Out-of-Pocket Increase for High Deductible Health Plans
Beginning on January 1, 2026, upon the group’s renewal, members within 51+ fully insured and self-insured groups with High Deductible Health Plans (HDHP) who renew their coverage will have an updated minimum deductible. The maximum out-of-pocket (MOOP) will also have an updated minimum amount. This change is due to the IRS inflation adjustments.
New groups enrolling in an HDHP on or after January 1, 2026 will have the same updated deductibles and MOOPs.

*Plans can have an out-of-pocket maximum higher than the minimum amounts noted but no HDHP MOOP can exceed $8,500 single / $17,000 family plan on or after January 1, 2026.
