Horizon Brief Notes: Change to Horizon MyWay Administrator

Applies to: All Groups with Horizon MyWay® HSA, HRA, and FSA accounts

Important Update: Change to Horizon MyWay® Administrator Coming July 1, 2026

Horizon is committed to ensuring our employer groups and members receive the most efficient and effective services from our vendor partners. After a thorough review of service quality, technology capabilities, and overall value, we have selected WEX™ to replace Health Equity® as the administrator for the Horizon MyWay® Consumer Directed Health Plans — HSA, FSA, and HRA — effective July 1, 2026.

Why the Change?
This change is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the member experience and make doing business with us even easier. We believe WEX™ can provide improved functionality, better customer service and a more seamless experience for all users across benefit platforms, including:

  • Enhanced member experience: A user-friendly portal and mobile app linked directly to their Horizon member portal makes it easier for members to manage their accounts and access funds directly.
  • Streamlined employer support: Improved reporting tools and integration with payroll and benefits platforms.
  • Stronger service and security: Increased responsiveness, proactive support and industry-leading security measures.

What This Means for You

  • There is no action required at this time.
  • We will provide detailed transition instructions, timelines and support resources to you, your customers, and their covered members prior to July 1, 2026.
  • We are working closely with both WEX™ and Health Equity® to ensure a smooth and timely transition for you and your clients.
