AmeriHealth COVID-19 Policy Update

AmeriHealth has released the following policies pertaining to COVID-19:

Accepting Credit Card Payments
Groups with fewer than 500 employees enrolled can make credit card payments to satisfy past-due premiums and any current amounts due from 4/10/20 through 7/31/20 through the ebill functionality on the employer portal.

Cost Sharing Waived for Telemedicine
Effective immediately and throughout the duration of New Jeresy’s public health emergency members will have access to all health care services with no cost sharing through telemedicine (primary care and specialist) if their physicians can see them through a telemedicine platform.

Certifications for Renewals Suspended
Effective Immediately, AmeriHealth New Jersey will temporarily suspend the NJSEH certification requirements for renewal groups. All Small Groups will be deemed compliant until further notice.
