Horizon BlueCard ID Card Indicator Is Changing.

Horizon is in the process of removing the “suitcase” logo from member ID cards for all market segments. The suitcase logo is being replaced with the applicable product indicator (e.g., PPO, HMO, POS — see sample member ID card below). 

What This Means for Your Client’s Covered Employees

• There are no changes to BlueCard coverage; only the indicator on the member ID card will be different.
• Health care professionals can continue to follow the normal process for verifying member benefits and eligibility
