Operations Manager (In-House Required) — Hauppauge, New York
Apply NowWe are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our Hauppauge, New York location.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to achieve department goals
- Work alongside PGP’s Operation Managers providing backup where needed and meet project deadlines
- Update processing manuals as changes are communicated and new processes implemented
- Compile, analyze, and summarize large data sets upon request from Director of Operations for meetings and ad hoc projects
- Review and manage monthly renewal process including requesting missing documents to be filed within the document management system
- Compile information for completion of reporting, including reports for management, carrier partners, and internal teams
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments and external carrier contacts
- Participate in hiring process for new Operations and Admin team members
- Participate in onboarding and offboarding Operations related tasks as needed
- Handle escalated issues and resolve in a timely manner
- Comply with data integrity and security policies
Qualifications
- Excellent computer skills – Excel in particular
- Ability to work in a faced paced, high-volume environment
- Very detail-oriented and the ability to ensure processes are executed
- Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize projects as needed with minimal supervision
- Fast learner with excellent documentation and organizational habits
- Excellent communications and people skills – both written and verbal
- Excellent problem solving & able to think outside the box
- On-site Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Salary Range
$60,000-$70,000
