We wanted to make you aware of an important upcoming change from UHC that will impact how Small Group Qualifying Event enrollment requests are submitted.
Beginning March 1, 2026, UHC will require supporting documentation to be provided with all applicable Qualifying Event enrollment requests.
While this new process officially launches on March 1, 2026, the functionality is already live on uhcservices.com. UHC strongly encourages brokers and groups to begin uploading documentation now to become familiar with the new process before it becomes mandatory.
Please note the following details:

For New Jersey: This applies to all Small Group plans and all Qualifying Event types. (all lines of business, FI and LF)

For New York: This applies only to groups with 5 or fewer subscribers and is limited to New Hires only.
