Earlier this year, United Healthcare issued updated documentation requirements for QLE (beginning 3/1/2026) in the small group space. In NY, this impacted groups under 5 subscribers (for New Hires only).
Effective 9/1/2026, this will be expanded In NY for groups under 5 subscribers (for ALL QLEs – no longer just NEW HIRES)
