Key updates are as follows:
- Extending the date from June 30, 2020 to August 31, 2020, for:
- Waiving the actively at work requirement (see page 19)
- Enabling furloughed employees to remain on a group health plan (see page 20)
- Waiving a group’s waiting period requirement (see page 25)
- With other extensions around:
- Extending the waiver of member cost sharing obligations for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19
- Extending the waiver of telemedicine cost sharing
- Extending the date for reimbursing for covered services provided through teledentistry
